Prague was great and we made it home safe!!!

Our last two days in the Czech Republic were spent in the beautiful city of Prague. I love that we get to see all of the Czech Republic from the country to the city. We loved exploring the city together.
One huge highlight for our team was on the first night in Prague it was Denia's birthday so we decided to go out and celebrate. We went up to this amazing resturant that was at the top of a tv tower. We had dessert to celebrate with an awesome view of the city!!
After we ate our yummy desserts, we decided to walk the city in the rain. It was really fun because there wasn't as many people in the squares.
The next day the weather cleared up for us and we spent a whole day together in the city. It was a great time together before we headed home. We had a time where we got to encourage one another and it was a really special time for all of us.
We headed home the next day with a very long day of traveling. We had a couple delayed flights but after over 24 hours of travel, we made it safely back home with all our things!! We are very thankful for all your prayers for our travels and trip. God did amazing things on this trip and I would encourage you to have coffee with any of the people on our team and ask them about their trip. We had an amazing team that all worked so well together and everyone did amazing things for the kingdom of God!!

Thank you all for your support and prayers, we could feel it and saw it working throughout our trip.

Follow up is going great!!

We have had an amazing time in Val Mez with follow up activities with the students.
We all have loved our homestays and it has been incredible to be able to live with some of our students this past weekend. We also loovveee...the ice cream!! It has been very hot here so ice cream has been a must lately. :)
Yesterday we played disc golf at this amazing corse in Val Mez.
We then had a BBQ after in the woods. It was so much fun!! Later that day we did a scavenger hunt around the city and it was a fun way to connect with students and see the city.

Today we went to church in the building that the church has been praying for over the past 10+ years!! It was so fun to be there and worship with students and the church we partner with.
After church, we took over a restaurant and had lunch together.
We finished the day off with a party at the church in their youth group room. It was a great way to end this amazing time with students. We looked at camp pictures, played some games and then said our goodbyes to students. It becomes very real when we start saying goodbye to the Czech team and students. We have all built amazing new friendships and it is hard to say bye. We pray that we can see these people again but we don't know what plans The Lord has for us so until then we must say our goodbyes.

We are on our way to Prague tomorrow. We must catch a train at 7am so I am heading to bed! Thank you all so much for all your prayers for our trip, it is much appreciated. Please pray for safe travels for the rest of our journey.

Last Day of Camp!!

It has been an exciting week and I can't believe camp is over!! We all had so much fun and saw God work in amazing ways. Thank you all so much for your prayers for our health and energy, we finished this camp strong!!
We had great discussions with students and our amazing Czech team that we partnered with in putting on this English Camp was fantastic. It has been an honor and a joy to once again serve with this amazing team as we all try to show the students Christ's love for them. We also had the honor of having Johnathan Rosen come and visit our camp. It was so much fun to hang out with him.
We ended our last night telling the students what being a Christian is like and James and Kami did an awesome job telling the students what the life of a Christian looks like.
We then finished our last night at camp with some fun games and videos and a huge dance party!! It was awesome.
This is the picture of one of the epic battles that went on last night. Now we are getting our things ready and staying with students for the next three days. The church we partner with puts on follow up activities to connect them with the local church so that after camp they can still stay connected. Please pray for lots of students to come to follow up. It is a great way for them to get connected.

Camp is going great!!

We are having a great camp so far. We are all getting to know the students and it has been very fun for some of us to see returning students and catch up with them. It has been a great time so far. A couple of things we have done so far have been crazy hair day, played kickball, playing soccer, played team getting you know you games and much more!!

It has been fun but our day is jam packed with fun and it makes the days very long. Many of us are tired so please pray for energy and health to each of us. I have not been able to write much because our wifi is not the best and we don't have much down time. But things are still going well. Our evening program has been really fun with games, camp dance and talks.
This is a little peak at what our camp talks look like.

We are also very excited for the size of our camp. It is the biggest camp we have had. This is a picture of us at lunch and this isn't even all of us!! It is awesome!
We have also had cajovnas, a carnival and other crazy games. Today we went on a hike and it was incredible to see the beauty that is here in Czech.

We all had lunch together with an incredible view!! There is nothing like a picnic lunch in Czech.

It was a fun day!! We are looking forward to another great evening program. Please pray for good conversations. We will try to keep you updated as much as we can.

Day 1 of camp!!

We started our day with getting the hotel ready for camp! We were all very excited for the students to arrive and begin camp.
We started the day with some morning worship and then after the Czech's had a surprise for us. They were going to be baptizing a student from their youth group. They asked if anyone else wanted to be baptized and Denia wanted to get baptized. It was a really special moment for all of us.
We then had to get the hotel ready for the students to arrive. Once the students arrived it was just so much fun!! All this anticipation came down to this and it was so fun!! We had a great evening program with wonderful MC's, Kadri and Lenny!! They were awesome!!
We also played a ton of really fun games to get to know all the students. We had a great time!!
Also silly skits brought to you by the Czech team!!

On our way to camp!!!

We left today for English camp. We said goodbye to Malenovice and hello to Velké Karlovice. It was another travel day for us as we got on three different trains in order to make it to our final destination, Velké Karlovice.  This town is just outside of Val Mez, the place where the local church we connect students to is at.

The train rises were a new and fun experience for a lot of us as we were able to see more of the beautiful Czech countryside. Once we arrived at Velké Karlovice, we were driven to the hotel we will be staying in for this next week.
The girls entertained themselves as we waited for the cars to go back and forth from the hotel with some fancy train track stretching. Yaa...we are very talented...haha

Once we arrived at the hotel we helped to get the supplies in the right places for camp tomorrow!!! The rest of our Czech team came and it was a joy for many of us to see our Czech friends again and for many of us to meet new Czech friends! It was a wonderful time together with the Czech and American teams.

We then finished off the night by meeting, praying and encouraging each other. We were preparing for camp together and it was a special time for all of us.
We are all getting to bed early tonight so we can be fresh and ready for our first day of camp tomorrow!! Please be praying for our camp. :)

Last day of Training!!

We finished our training today and are ready to serve the students at English camp. We all feel very encouraged and excited to begin our English camp on Saturday!!
Today is our last day in Malenovie and we will be traveling to Val-Mez tomorrow. This is where our camp will be.

The last day of our training started with incredible worship lead by James, Kadri, Lauren and Kelsey. They started our morning with an amazing set list that even included a new song written by one of our worship leaders at our church. It was really special to share the song with everyone and was a great start to our day!
Today we really focused on talking about our time with the Czech students. We had time to meet as a team with some of our Czech team members.
This is an important time in order to create a great camp for students. Some of us are getting so close that they start twining :)
This could also be because they were English teaching partners last year....

We also had some time to run around and play soccer and hang out with other teams!

Some of us enjoyed drinking the Kofola,
others of us took the free time to hang out with the other American teams and enjoyed each others company.

We finished another amazing day praying for one another and getting to chat with the founder of Josiah Venture, Dave Patty. It was an incredible way to end our last day in Malenovice.
To top this amazing day off we all had some sweet treats together and enjoyed our last night in Malenovice.
